CommScope is recruiting a CDL-A OTR Driver to join our team! Candidates will be based within an 85 mile radius of Catawba, NC. 


How You'll Help Us Connect The World:
This role will cover inner plant moves and deliveries to customer locations as well as other deliveries and any other customer locations that are needed in the day-to-day business operations. 

  • Drive a tractor-trailer, straight truck, or any company vehicle as needed and ensure trailers are dropped and hooked properly 
  • Complete daily vehicle inspections
  • Perform accurate documentation of all paperwork
  • Timely communications with people involved with continued operations of company facilities.
  • Ensure cargo is properly secured for safe transportation, which includes gross and axle weights
  • Maintain equipment in a clean and sanitary manner
  • Abide by State & Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration


Required Qualifications For Consideration:

  • Experience driving tractor-trailer equipment with at least 110,000 verifiable over-road miles in the last 2.5 years
  • Meet all requirements of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations 
  • Must be physically capable of safely handling freight as reasonably required and be able to lift up to 100 pounds. 
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License from state of residency
