The world’s most advanced networks rely on CommScope connectivity. CommScope is seeking an experienced, technically capable and results driven Director to do lead our Industry 4.0 go to market. You will work with our various field sales organization within CommScope and our partner channels to help identify, qualify, track, and ultimately win Industry 4.0 opportunities across the manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics vertical. You should have a firm understanding these vertical markets and the use-cases leveraging wireless for both licensed and unlicensed applications, IT Networks, and applications relevant to the Industry 4.0 initiatives, as well as the competitive landscape, business models, and be capable of positioning CommScope’s product technology and services within a technical sales engagement at the CXOs level. How you'll help us to connect the world; Be a trusted advisor and subject matter authority in Industry 4.0 to the field sales team to engage and drive revenue for the assigned market segment while providing an ongoing forecast for revenue and pipeline in each quarter. Field and respond to incoming requests from CommScope sales teams and partners who are pursuing Industry 4.0 technology business opportunities which require market expertise in the form of market data, wireless connectivity, network design, applications support, and business return on investment models. Establish eco-system solutions relationship and reference architectures with 3rd party solutions providers which can help round out the CommScope’s offerings. Be internal advocate to for the Industry 4.0 vertical business, by working cross-functionally with Marketing, PLM, Engineering, and Finance to define solutions, products, features, functionality, form factors, and programs, etc, which are needed for the manufacturing, warehousing and logistics business segment to be successful. Responsible for understanding the value proposition as it relates to project scoping, technology expertise, vendor experience, and various go to market and business models for CommScope offerings to be successfully selected. Build a strategic sales education plan around Industry 4.0 with internal and external field technical leads to educate and make the technical staff and sales teams proficient with positioning, designing, and supporting CommScope sales opportunities. Regularly communicate and compare sales funnel between CommScope businesses to ensure cross-selling is being improved between CommScope technologies. Required Qualifications: This is a senior level role which requires a strong ability to present Industry 4.0 business, solutions, and technical material, while firmly understanding business, efficiency and funding models. 10 years of successful business development of end-customer with Partner and Operator sales engagements both domestically and internationally. Experience as a quota supporting or bearing sales professional Relationship building to CIO/CMO level decision makers Deep expertise and experience in critical thinking, planning and support Understanding of regional business models. Excellent communicator both internally and externally Experience working effectively both in a matrix team environment and independently to achieve results Track record working with complex sales engagements Proven ability to operate in a fast paced, structured corporate environment Willing to travel extensively (up to 50% with some international) You'll excite us if you have: A good understanding of Mobile Network Operator business models, Data Analytics as well as international experience is helpful.
