Overview
We are looking for a motivated Production Engineering for our Corporate Bank Cash Management Technology platforms to exhibit a wide variety of strengths and capabilities across multiple technologies and disciplines, as well as continually drive automation in all day-to-day production support activities. We look first and foremost for people who are passionate in solving problems through innovation and engineering practices. You'll work in a collaborative, thought-provoking environment-one that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions. The role requires a high level of accountability to deliver technical solutions and continuous improvements in the overall support strategy. The role requires the management of all aspects of the Cash Management systems, (Pre and Post Trade Settlement process, Corporate Actions, Custody and Fund services) working closely with geographically diverse support and development teams to continue to build a market leading support organization for Corporate Bank Information Technology (IT).

What You’ll Do
Maintain a strong technical acumen focused on overall Systems Architecture and Engineering to deliver platforms that meet defined requirements from the Business / Application delivery teams, while being responsible for the continuous development of efficient processes utilizing bank technologies and automation tools
Leverage / Influence broader organization of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE’s) and technologist to build communities that contribute to solutions and implementation, as well as embrace a Continuous Service Improvement approach to resolve IT failings, drive efficiencies and remove repetition to streamline support activities, reduce risk, and improve system availability
Carry out technical analysis of the Production platform to identify and remediate performance and resiliency issues, and act as a production engineering role model to enhance the technical capability of the Production Support teams
Understand the end-to-end flow of data through the application infrastructure
Leadership experience with mindset to drive professional growth of the team with a focus on critical thinking, strategic planning, enhancing technical and interpersonal skills
Creating stretch assignments for team members to expand their skills and create more rounded individuals
Skills You’ll Need
Experience in IT in large corporate environments, specifically in controlled production environments or in Financial Services Technology in a client-facing function
SRE mindset and have implemented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), DevOps, and Agile models
Experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and the associated control gates. For example, Agile, DevOps – continuous integration/continuous deployment or development (CI/CD) and SRE practices and with complex IT infrastructure (UNIX, Database, Middleware, incl. Cloud and associated native tooling)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage incidents, do problem management and effectively communicate with business/ operations stakeholders
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Worked in implementing SRE model or deep exposure to Agile, DevOps
Strong knowledge of databases (Oracle/MSSQL etc.), including working experience of writing SQL scripts and queries
Working experience on UNIX/Linux, Solaris, Java J2EE, PERL, Python, PowerShell scripts, Bash, Ansible, Control-M, Connect: Direct, Message Queue (MQ), Kafka, Informatica
Working knowledge of GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Agile Frameworks, Geneos, Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana & New Relic) and knowledge of Cloud based technologies (Google Cloud Platform is an added advantage)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or IT-related discipline (or equivalent work experience or diploma) and ITIL Foundations Certificate
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $95,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
