Position Summary:

The SAP Service Business Analyst is responsible for methodically investigating, analyzing, and detailing business processes and requirements, identifying specific business benefits that could be gained from new or enhanced IT functionalities / features

 

In this role, you will act as a liaison between the business functions providing the business requirements, and the IT teams delivering the solution. You will collaborate with Business Leadership, Project Managers, IT delivery teams including external vendors to ensure quality project delivery in a cost-effective manner.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Articulate & document business requirements in an analytical manner to find out the exact business need
  • Bring in SAP standard processes to enhanced user experience, business effectiveness and efficiency
  • Understand how new changes in one functional area can impact other functions
  • Create strategic roadmap for SAP CS module in the given business environment & needs
  • Work as a critical link between IT and Business teams to mitigate challenges, risks and issues
  • Work with multiple partners to drive solution architecture, timely delivery with quality output
  • Management and accountability for the achievement of all Metrics (SLAs)
  • Suggest process improvements and automation
  • Provide solutions in an Agile setting
  • Work with various partners to build project plans – Scope definition, Timeline and Budgeting
  • Train Super Users for new solutions implemented and ensure training to all relevant users in a ‘collaborative’ way
  • Resolving day to day issues in SAP CS area
  • Make SAP configurations for standard changes
  • Support cutover activities for project and Master Data governance

 

Key Skills:

  • Solid grasp of functional SAP Customer Service/ Service Management
  • Knowledge on SAP configuration, SAP CS integration with other modules, writing Functional Specifications, Interfaces, iDocs, LSMW etc.
  • Ability to work on add-on applications for Process Automations using SAP
  • Understand budget related to aspects of project management – CAPEX / OPEX
  • Possess good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong problem solving skills with ability of driving continuous process improvement
  • Ability to prioritize work & complete the activities

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • 8-10+ years of experience in SAP Customer Service (CS). Having knowledge of other SAP modules is an added advantage   
  • In depth understanding of Service Operations in multi-country SAP template solution
  • Expert knowledge of business processes in Service operations including Finance integration
  • SAP module/other IT certification
