WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Virtual Sales Specialist (VSS) – Security, you will be responsible for all technical sales activities of Cisco Security portfolio from Cisco Cloud Security to Network Security as well as Cisco Meraki MX Portfolio and associated services in the APJC SMB Market segment. You are able to craft and grow new go-to-market channels to SMB market to drive revenue growth while ensuring internal alignment. You will identify projects within the strategic partners and running activities to improve product and services revenue. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and lead security growth plans and strategies along with internal stakeholders especially SMB Sales BDM, Meraki Sales and Partner Organization Drive revenue growth in SMB market segment through Distributors and Tier-2 partners. Forecast and report activity accurately in line with expectations. Work with strategic distributors and their partners and provide technical knowledge, generate partner-lead sales funnels and support closing deals. Provide distributors and partners with pricing and configurations to meet their needs as required. Work with SMB Sales BDM and Partner Organization to develop necessary program and scheme. Team with Cisco authorized channel partners on sales opportunities bringing to bear their capabilities where appropriate. Direct touch sales combined with experience working in a matrixed organization. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS ・BS, BA or equivalent. ・Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in selling cyber security solutions such as network security, endpoint security, email, IDP or cloud security and management platforms ・Strong technical hands-on skills in demonstration, testing and reporting ・Proactively self-learning motivation to catch up new technologies and products ・Professional English communication skills including presentation and documentation Desired Skills ・Understanding of network technology and Cisco product portfolio including Meraki ・Ability to work in cross-functional and matrix organization environment. ・Strong aspiration to grow within a global organization Why Cisco? #WeAreCisco. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. hiring location. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
