If you are looking for an opportunity in Associate Director, Finance Head Discrete Automation India Business Unit,  Emerson has this exciting role for you! The candidate will Lead India BU Finance team located at Bangalore and Chennai based out of Emerson's Mahindra World City Facility, Chengalpattu.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Lead India Finance team, manage day-to-day accounting processes, complete the financial reports on time and analyze the business performance. Ensure the compliance to GAAPs and local regulations.
• Partner with other functional leaders to develop financial plans (e.g. POR) that support organizational strategy.
• Integrate the finance function for both Industrial Automation & Factory Automation business (Chennai) and Controls & Software (Bangalore), develop the Finance team and build a positive & productive atmosphere.
• Lead the team to automate the accounting process and streamline the internal operational process to achieve the excellence of organization. 
• Liaise with BU Headquarters and Emerson India region on finance matters.
• Supervise the Internal Trade Compliance of BU India
• Lead the finance track for Oracle implementation in India.
• Handle non-routine projects and other reporting requirements.

Who You Are:

You serve as a strong business partner to drive the site performances together with other functional leaders. You are responsible for BU financial health and involved in the decisions of local operation. You are one of the gatekeepers in the compliance with India statutory requirements and Emerson’s internal policy and procedures. 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Degree in accounting / finance or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 10 years working experience in the Finance or accounting with proven experience in leading a team (> 5 persons)
• Good business acumen and strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong leadership qualities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
