      Job Title: Technology Service Engineer - II (Data Engineering Support)

      Our Team – International Data Lake 
      About Walmart International Data Lake 
      Our team collaborates with Walmart International, which has over 5,900 retail units operating outside of the United States under 55 banners in 26 countries including South Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Japan, and Mexico, to name a few.
      The International Data Lake team is responsible for managing and consolidating data from different sources into the Enterprise and Regional DataLake. Intl Data Lake team ensure compliance with data regulations and governance and use appropriate toolsets to bring the data into the data lake in batch, near real-time, or real-time manner. The data in the data lake is utilized by various applications and analytics solutions.
      This role involves handling operational incidents within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) for all International Data Lake ingestion pipelines and integrated application solutions.
      What you'll do:
      • Good knowledge in application support knowledge Incident management, problem management, Defect tracking, change management, Reports, SLAs
      • Flexibility - Be part of a team that manages applications/systems 24x7 , weekends/weekdays on rotation basis to ensure best experience to customers and work in the assigned shift timings
      • Manage all production system and recommend ways to optimize performance and provide solution to problems and prepare reports for all problems
      • Plan, execute and implement applications and configuration change procedures
      • Application support process/service management knowledge Incident management, problem management, Defect tracking, change management, Reports, SLAs
      • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide RCA
      • Coordinate across teams and resolve all complex application and system issues ranging in complexity (Low to Critical)
      • Install and prepare tools required for proper functioning of applications on regular basis.

        Education/Qualification
        Any Graduate/PG Bachelor's Computer Science or related streams with relevant years’ experience in Industry

        What you’ll bring
      • 1-4 years of overall experience in the architecting, implementation and maintaining cloud/Data intensive applications and technologies
      • Good understanding on cloud fundamentals and exposure to GCP/Azure/Hive/Spark.
      • Working experience on supporting of Data Pipeline applications built on Spark or PySpark or Hadoop or Hive running in scheduling tools like Automic or Airflow.
      • Mandatory to have working knowledge of SQL, Big Query and Databases
      • Extensive Knowledge of operating systems, networking, databases, distributed computing, distributed file system, ETL and application stacks
      • Troubleshoot and triage issues related to Data ETL/ELT framework, Workflow management tools.
      • Debugging skills on Cluster related issues.
      • Hands-on knowledge on ITSM/Service Now/OSC/Jira, Splunk/xMatters tools
      • Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
