Function Description:

The Colleague Services and Digital Capabilities (CSDC) organization within the Colleague Experience Group (CEG - also known as Human Resources) at American Express plays a critical role in providing the outstanding services, capabilities, data, and insights that enable a great colleague experience. We build, run, and evolve the incredible platforms, products and services that enable colleagues to do their best work every single day.

This role will be led by Manager of Digital Product Solution Design within CSDC. As part of this team, you will be working on Oracle Fusion Talent Management configuration, maintenance and support. You will partner with HR operations, product, and Technology engineering to unlock the full potential of our HR systems.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the Talent Functional lead to providing standard methodology on HR business processes and Oracle HCM cloud functional expertise on Talent Management. configuration and support.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into optimal system configuration of Oracle module.
  • Assess scope, undertake fit-gap analysis and impact analysis, and size and design solutions.
  • Help investigate and resolve operational, system functional and technical errors and opportunities. Troubleshoot systems and data and generate effective solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Oracle HCM Cloud releases, updates, and features.
  • Collaborate with CEG teams, Technology and other partners supporting roadmaps and looking for process improvements with our Oracle HCM products.

Key Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Oracle Talent Management configuration/ support role.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud expertise in Oracle Talent Management implementation, maintenance, and support.
  • Hands-on Oracle HCM experience in configuration like Talent Profile, Person Profile, Goal Management, Succession management, Talent Review templates and other user administration activities.
  • A good balance of discernment and technical knowledge with a proven track record of driving platform changes with a customer-first approach
  • Must have the ability to “connect the dots” between new business requirements with HCM functional/technical configurations.
  • Ability to communicate complex technology solutions and ideas to diverse stakeholders, including technical teams and business partners.
  • Demonstrable ability to push the boundaries of existing technologies and processes.

Roles and Responsibilities: Provide support (e.g., break/fix, how to expertise, enhancements, monitoring, testing, troubleshooting) for the SCO application.  Works collaboratively with Corporate Logistics and SCO IT Program/Project Managers to understand program requirements and assist with the evaluation of alternative solutions. Assist with program rollout activities, including business unit and trading partner on-boarding, project coordination, status reporting and communication to program management. Ensures SCO system documentation is complete and maintained. Works effectively in a global highly matrixed team environment. Skills & Experience Required: 4 to 8 years of IT experience, including implementation of Oracle Transportation Management.  OTM Expert, both Functionally and technically (Setup configuration, Order Management, Shipment management, Financials, rates, master data, bulk planning parameters, VPDs, user configuration, screen set development, SQL queries, Tracking Events and working with CSV & XML files). Hands on experience with triage of day-to-day OTM systems issues and providing resolution on complex issues. Knowledge of Logistics management principles and processes. Broad knowledge and experience with various ERP systems. Working knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite (Procurement, Shipping, XML Gateway) is highly preferred. Working knowledge of BI Publisher, FTI/OAC, OBIEE and ETL. Good knowledge of EDI and any other Middleware systems. Strong customer service orientation with strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with presenting to diverse technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization. Ability to multi-task and work within diverse multi-disciplinary global project teams. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Comfortable with performing detailed data analysis to identify opportunities and gain higher level insight. Knowledge on GTM (Global Trade Management) will be a plus. Some travel might be required.
