Job description 

About the role:

  • Ensure all Problem Management cases are reviewed for Aggravating Factors and Root Cause Analysis and thus managed within the defined SLAs.
  • Ensure the quality of services and the execution of all processes (e.g.) are performed according to established global standards.
  • Track and publish problem data to ensure problems are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Monitor progress on the resolution of Known errors and ensure appropriate entries are made to the Known Error Database.
  • Manage GSF case volumes in line with GSF expectations.
  • Manage relationships with various TR SIAM Partners and ensure compliance with TR Problem Management requirements and SLAs.
  • Identify areas of improvement resulting from trends, to ensure Continual Service Improvement Projects are planned and executed.


About you:

  • 1+ years working in a service or IT support role, problem management preferred or can demonstrate equivalent.
  • In-depth experience in ITIL incident, problem, and change processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of Service management tools and ITIL best practices.
  • Strong working knowledge of IT operations and support organizations.
  • Working experience in a production/operational environment, international experience valued.
  • ITIL Foundation certified with knowledge and understanding of Incident and Problem Management processes.
  • Exposure to Service Integration and Management (SIAM) practices.

Thomson Reuters is looking to add a Lead QA Engineer to our Commercial Engineering.  This challenging position requires someone to think independently, work well collaboratively across multiple disciplines, including working with a variety of technologies stacks (as required). As a Lead QA Engineer you have the ability to deliver high quality work in a timely manner, in a fast-paced environment while collaborating and brainstorming with others in a dynamic team environment.  A combination of strong planning, organization, time management skills, and handling multiple projects are key. You will also contribute to the maintenance and support of production systems, as necessary. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required. 8-10 years experience designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automation tests or similar in Java or other Object-Oriented languages Experience with test management tools and is comfortable with writing test plans and test cases Experience testing Web Applications in cross-browser and cross-device manually as well using automated test tools Experience working with and developing automated test scripts using Gherkin and BDD framework Proficient and have a solid understanding of Selenium A strong understanding of techniques for exploratory testing Able to work independently with minimal direction and guidance to achieve goals Experience using Agile Methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, Business Analysts, management, and business team members) Line Management of QA engineers Excellent communication skills, English speaking due to diverse team.
