Job Description 

As a Senior Security Developer, you will be an essential part of our security team designing, developing and enhancing security tools used within the ServiceNow ecosystem. Additionally, you will be part of a team responsible for building an automated security framework for robust deployment tools and processes.

  • Build high-quality, scalable, and secure ServiceNow applications that are used by ServiceNow Security and other Engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement new features and functionalities to our ServiceNow Security Platform Products.
  • Learnings first: Get to learn and work on the latest ServiceNow Application & Platform features.
  • End-to-end ownership: Directly interact with the users & stakeholders, innovate & identify opportunities for continuous enhancements, and drive solutions until deployment.
  • Independently design, code, and debug complex applications that are integrated with multiple systems.
  • Explore the latest ServiceNow features and evaluate them for adoption.

 

 

 


Qualifications
 

To be successful in this role you should have: 

  • Passion for developing applications & solving problems.
  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow Application development.
  • ServiceNow Secops knowledge is Plus
  • Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow Scripting & technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Service Portal, ATF, MID Server, integrating ServiceNow with external systems, etc.
  • Ability to develop UI-rich applications using Service Portal, Workspace, Now Experience UI Framework, Jelly, and other ServiceNow front-end technologies along with the knowledge of CSS & responsive design.
  • Comfortable coding in more than one language such as native Javascript, Java, Python, Go, etc.
  • Understands various design patterns, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Framework.

  What You’ll Do Be accountable for designing, building, and deploying solutions, monitoring systems, and developing integrations with other applications.  Provide subject matter expertise pertaining to design, development, and implementation within the ServiceNow platform based on ServiceNow and industry specific best practices to minimize customizations and drive continual service improvement.
