The Delivery Supervisor role is an opportunity to work with Oracle in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. As a part of the Vehicle Software and Systems Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing complex delivery programs and integrating large-scale implementations. You will need strong knowledge of GPDS, PLM discipline, and Vehicle Design. This is a full-time on-site opportunity and requires 8-12 years of experience.

Job description 

Must Have Skills:

  • 10+ years' experience in managing complex delivery programs, of which 3-5 years' experience in integration and deployment of large-scale implementations.
  • Strong functional knowledge of GPDS, PLM discipline, Vehicle Design domain (CAD, Software & Electricals )
  • Strategic mindset with ability to understand end to end processes and arrive at implementable solutions that adds business value
  • Strong Project Management skills with excellent knowledge in agile processes, PM discipline practices and drive PDO basecamp maturity within the product line.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to summarize key aspects of work for senior management.
  • Excellent people management skills with ability and aptitude to mentor team members and build a team that demonstrates One Ford truths.
  • Capability to perform at a high level of competence and maturity, dealing with multiple assignments, on-demand critical tasks and ability to influence others.

Nice to Have Skills: 

  • Prior experience working in Ford PD domain
  • Coordinating contract development/negotiation with outside suppliers in accordance with Ford standard practices.
  • Monitoring supplier delivery performance and Ford's acceptance of project deliverables.
  • Interfacing with supplier to prepare project reporting.
  • Knowledge in PLM and CAD tools; TC/Catia/NX ,Vehicle Software & Electrical Modules  preferred
  • Experience in Architecting, Installing, Configuring, Upgrading, and administering Siemens PLM environments.
  • Experience with BMIDE, TEM, Deployment Center, Active Workspace, and Web Servers like JBoss and Tomcat and Oracle Databases
  • Strong knowledge of Teamcenter products, including latest Unified Architecture, Organization, Multisite, T4EA Integration, Workflow Designer, Access Manager, Project, Query Builder, Dispatcher etc. 
  • Working experience in Windows and Linux Operating systems. 
  • Knowledge of ITKs, Custom Services and other areas of PLM domain. 
  • Proficiency in supporting multiple environments like Development, Testing etc. 
  • Knowledge and experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and JIRA. 
  • Creating and maintaining build and release scripts and processes to ensure smooth and efficient release. 
  • Managing version control systems (Git)and ensuring that code is properly managed.
  • Should have Knowledge about office integration with Teamcenter.
  • Preferably, familiarity with project methodologies such as SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile.
  • Hands on experience with ITK, AWC and SOA would be an added advantage
  • Experience in 3DEXPERIENCE platform

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • ​Create a strategy and approach to implement solutions that enables business value at the earliest opportunity in Electrical and Software domains
  • Drive and create different technical solutions including architecting, designing, Installing, Configuring, Upgrading, and administering Siemens PLM environments including software applications/products/COTS in the area of vehicle software and systems engineering.
  • Drive project management discipline and continue improving the PDO basecamp maturity within the team.
  • Resolve conflicts & roadblocks, manage interdependencies across product teams/product lines through effective integration.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure delivery within agreed scope of work
  • Execute people leader responsibilities by demonstrating One Ford truths and developing high performing teams.
  • Demonstrate operational excellence in managing financial forecasts, headcount forecasts, capacity management and manage all operational targets effectively
  • Collaborate with Business, Regional IT and other IT teams on project planning, status reporting, business value realization and strategic initiatives
  • Manage project budget, including planning, actual and forecast financials
  • Manage project quality assurance and deliver with high quality
  • Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and drive resolution of issues
  • Plan and execute integrated projects actively manage through effective monitoring and control

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or related engineering degree
  • Strong ability to handle projects that are complex, cross-functional and integrated with various functions (Must)
  • Strong people management skills (Must)
