Senior Manager- Marketing, Disney+ Hotstar (Brand marketing, Social & Editorial)
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing for Disney+ Hotstar. As a Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining an editorial perspective, creating unique creative formats, expanding social media handles, managing agency relations, and more. We are looking for a candidate who is a fan of entertainment, unafraid of taking risks, and has a good understanding of social platforms. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Editorial Strategy: Develop and maintain an editorial perspective on the Disney+ Hotstar channels that matches the needs of our current and addressable audience base, in addition to creatively promoting our priority content verticals
- Creative Format Development and Execution: Develop sharp briefs as well as formats that lead to unique creative formats that service our content and brand priorities. Work cross-functionally with internal and external partners to execute against creative needs
- Strategy for Expansion of Social media handles: Increase the follower base on Disney+ Hotstar-owned social media handles. Build a unique channel social strategy geared to engagement and growth across our key platforms. Create and advance long-term strategy to help Disney+ Hotstar into newer platforms and audience spaces
- Editorial Maintenance: Responsible for the creative output across all Disney+ Hotstar social channels on a day-to-day basis
- Agency relations: Key coordinate between Disney+ Hotstar and external social media retainer agency to monitor and drive business objectives
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS
- The candidate should be, first and foremost, a fan of entertainment and a passionate believer in the role social media plays in building a deep and meaningful relationship with the consumer
- You’re unafraid of big risks and the ability to pivot without getting stalled by challenges along the way
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 6+ years’ experience in social marketing or editorial roles. Good understanding of social platforms like Meta, YouTube, including their mechanisms and growth levers
- Thorough understanding of the social media landscape including but not limited to Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, Reddit, X, Facebook and new platforms like Moj
- Hands-on experience and success in building and managing fan communities
- Deep understanding of how cultural trends form, and the ability to anticipate and act on it
