Job description 

Introduction:

As a PC MOTIF/P&L RTB L2 SME responsible for managing the service quality provided to the Finance business  stake holders and takes E2E responsibility of service operations & service recovery management activities during major incident impacting F2B. The E2E support includes ensuring Application management, Service Recovery, KPI monitoring and reporting, service availability and the platform stability.

What will you be doing?

    Production stability: - Accountable for Production stability, Service availability and Governance.
    Tech Delivery: - Responsible for the definition and execution of service improvement plans including RTB projects.
    Service Reporting/Reviews and Application Management: - Engagement with Global RFT RTB leadership to review KPIs and SLAs.
    Service Escalation: -Lead Incident and Problem Management through to resolution. Operational escalation point for Incident, Problem, Change, Release and Configuration Management.
    Ensures and promotes ITIL best practices for Incident, Problem, Change, Release management.
    Tech Debt and automation focus.
    Business continuity management, presentation of KPIs and metrics and managing infra activities and auditing (Product Control and IVC) for applications.


What we’re looking for:

•    Experience ranging from 4-8 years with primarily Run The Bank roles in financial institutions, consulting or technology companies or Programme management roles in other industries
•    1-2 years of Strong management skills and able to drive the incident and project end to end.
•    Hands-on/technical experience with high proficiency in Service Recovery 
•    1-2 years of Windows experience
•    3-4 years of Unix/Linux, database technologies (Oracle & MS-SQL) primarily in Investment Banking domain. (Exposure to PnL/IVC business area will be preferred)
•    Knowledge of Investment Bank and IB PnL functional knowledge 
•    Experience with ITIL concepts and best practices. Experience of using configuration management tools and reporting.
•    Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills suitable for a diverse audience, with the ability to communicate in a positive, friendly and effective manner with ‘technical’ or ‘non-technical’ users/ customers
•    Strong analytical approach to problem solving
•    Self-motivated, proactive

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    4+ years’ experience in production support.
•    High energy, hands-on and results & goal-oriented
•    Well organized with excellent time management, able to work in a pressurized environment
•    Excellent knowledge of accounting principal and practices in Financial institution
•    Driving attitude and Engineering mindset 

•    Knowledge on cloud and DevOps principles are desired. 
•    Automation experience
