The Opportunity: 

The ServiceNow Developer position is responsible for design, planning, and implementations of ECI MSP instance of ServiceNow. ECI maintains a multi-domain ServiceNow instance for the management of multiple clients. The position will work shoulder to shoulder with technologists on the team to learn and understand the business requirements and plan out how to deploy out of the box (OOTB) and customize modules in ServiceNow to meet those business objectives. The position will also serve as a senior development resource to help progress the rest of the team and assist in development for challenging tasks.

This is an onsite position in our Bangalore office.  You will be required to work in our Bangalore office 5 days/week.  Working hours (Onsite):  Monday – Friday, 1pm – 10pm IST

What you will do:

  • Manage the planning, design, and architecture of the ServiceNow platform in conjunction with business stakeholders
  • Understand the business needs and requirements as an MSP to make development of the platform successful
  • Lead the testing and deployment of ServiceNow updates and new releases.
  • Research and document how new modules will be deployed, planning out the integrations, dependencies, and process changes needed with surrounding modules and products.
  • Assist in the development of new modules and functions.
  • Develop clear and concise technical & process documentation.
  • Communicate ServiceNow process, operations and capability information to all levels of management effectively.
  • Work with business users to identify and refine business requirements and workflows.
  • Monitor performance of the ServiceNow instance
  • To continuously improve their knowledge around information security as it relates to their job and identifying and preventing phishing attempts.

 

Who you are:

  • 4-5 years of experience with Orchestration, Integration & Scripting experience in ServiceNow. 
  • 4+ years’ experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML 
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience with a domain separation ServiceNow architecture 
  • Hands on experience with ITSM Modules including Incident, Request, Change, Problem, Time, Filed Service, Project, Agile, Entitlement, Contract, Invoice, Expense, KB, CMDB 
  • Understanding of ITSM/ITOM Modules such Major Incident, Asset, custom Invoice, custom Expense, Event Management, Notify, Salesforce integration, Call, Discovery 

Bonus points if you have: 

  • ServiceNow Developer certification 
  • ITIL v4 certified preferred. 
  • Experience with ITSM, ITBM, and CSM (ITOM would be an added benefit)
