About the Role:

The ServiceNow Sr. Developer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions. They work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop custom applications and workflows within the ServiceNow platform. The role requires expertise in ServiceNow scripting, integration, and configuration to ensure the platform meets the organization’s needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement ITSM solutions using industry best practices within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, and scripts, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Fix Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Email Inbound.
  • Create and configure Service Portal and widgets.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other systems using REST and SOAP-based integrations, and create scripted REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Have knowledge of authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0, certificates, and Mid Server.
  • Implement ServiceNow projects in a Domain-separated instance.
  • Implement ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration use cases.
  • Manage MID Server installation and configuration.
  • Develop custom applications within ServiceNow.
  • Implement LDAP/Active Directory/SSO integration.
  • Implement Orchestration use cases.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong hands-on development experience with ServiceNow scripting and customization, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Fix Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Email Inbound.
  • Experience with Service Portal and widget creation.
  • Proficiency in REST and SOAP-based integrations, as well as creating scripted REST and SOAP APIs.
