Qualifications

Required Qualifications:  

• 8+ years of experience working on virtualized network control plane products such as NSX.    
• Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, ISIS, OSPF, RIPv2 and EIGRP.   
• Exposure to network encapsulation technologies such as EVPN and VXLAN.   
• Excellent technical design, problem solving, and debugging skills. 
• Outstanding interpersonal collaboration and communication skills.  
• Experience working with HCX providers such as VMWare and Nutanix 
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or a related field), or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required.  

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Exposure to network virtualization and overlay virtual networking.  
• Exposure to public cloud architecture AWS/Azure/Google Cloud  
• Experience working on NSX like network virtualization platforms.  
• Experience working on VMWare and Nutanixtechnology stacks. 
• Exposure to HPC networking technologies like InfiniBand and Slingshot. 
• Experience programming with Python, Golang or C#.  

Responsibilities

In this role you will help build the next generation of Azure dedicated network. This includes collaborating with internal and external customers to craft solutions and taking it from concept to production. Microsoft network runs on SDN. Software components form an intricate part of any networking solution today. One of the key responsibilities of this role is to collaborate with software engineers.
