Position Summary...
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Our Advertising Technology team is building an end-to-end advertising platform that is key to Walmart’s overall growth strategy. We use cutting edge machine learning, data mining and optimization algorithms to ingest, model, and analyze Walmart’s proprietary online and in-store data, encompassing 95% of American households. Importantly, we build smart data systems that deliver relevant retail ads and experiences that connect our customers with the brands and products they love.
What you'll do –
· Coordinate across cross-functional teams spread across geography to deliver complex programs
· Define, monitor and improve critical to success metrics for the success of these programs
· Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
· Plan and manage multiple parallel projects
· Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
· Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
· Ability to contribute to high level architectural discussions and drive complex problems to closure
· Apply best practices to the software development life cycle for projects based on experiences with a number of agile and blended approaches
· Interact with project Sponsors, project Stakeholders and multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver complex features
· Work very closely with various business stakeholders to drive the execution of multiple business plans and technologies
· Ensure consistent and transparent status updates with all stakeholders (engineering, Business, product, leadership)
· Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
· Develop, communicate and drive best practice adoption across the organization
· Maintain and understand the Portfolio level view, budget, resources and understand the impact on the financials
· Drive and Track L2 level OKRs closely and understand the impact on the metrics for various deliverables
· Drive efficiencies with in the team - Project Charter, frameworks and execution excellence patterns
What you'll bring:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field and 12+ years’ experience in project/program management, or related field.
• Knowledge of large scale technical program management in product organization.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and project management tools, etc.
Additional Qualifications:
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or any other Program Management certifications
• Experience with mobile app development lifecycle
• Retail domain experience
