Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our company as the India Regional Lead for the ISG Training as a Service (TaaS) practice. As the India Regional Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations, strategy, and growth of our TaaS division in the Indian market while supporting the global TaaS solutions team. Your primary focus will be on building and managing a high-performing team, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring the successful delivery of training programs to our clients across the region. This is a leadership role that requires a strong business acumen, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the training industry.

 

Responsibilities:

 Leadership and Strategy:

Develop and implement the overall strategy and business plan for the TaaS division in India, aligning it with the global TaaS objectives.

Lead and inspire a team of middle managers, team leads, instructional designers, training developers, and support staff, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional growth.

Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive innovation and continuous improvement in the TaaS offerings.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to develop effective strategies for business development and client acquisition.

 Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities by establishing and nurturing relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders in the Indian market and the broader ISG ecosystem.

Conduct market research and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external channel partners to identify potential target segments and develop tailored training solutions to meet specific client needs.

Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with clients.

 Client Relationship Management:

Build strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.

Proactively engage with clients to understand their training requirements, address any concerns, communicate the ISG TaaS value proposition, and provide value-added solutions.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert advice and guidance on training strategies, content development, and program implementation.

 Program Delivery and Quality Assurance:

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of training programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.

Collaborate with the global ISG TaaS Team to develop and update training materials, curriculum, and methodologies based on industry best practices and client feedback.

Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of training programs to measure their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

 Reporting and Analytics:

Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, client satisfaction, program effectiveness, and team performance.

Analyse data and generate insights to drive data-informed decision making, identify trends, and recommend strategic actions to optimize business performance.

Monitor ISG TaaS performance objectives to ensure obtainment of key goals are attained by the India TaaS team.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Instructional Systems Design, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a leadership role within the training industry, with a strong understanding of current best practices and thought leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management, and achieving sales targets (5+ years).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Experience in managing teams and driving their performance and development.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, rapid systems training development tool (SAP Enable Now, Articulate Storyline, etc.) and agile training methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel within India as required.
