About the role:

As a Digital Product Owner, you'll play a pivotal role as a member of the Vehicle Platform as a Service Team in India. Your primary responsibility will be to define cloud technologies and processes for Vehicle Platform as Services within the Core Platform Area (CPA) Software and Diagnostics, driving the adoption of cloud technologies across all teams within the CPA.

Key Responsibilities:

Story Definition: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user stories and requirements for the Vehicle Platform as Service, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities.

Backlog Ownership: Take ownership of the team backlog, prioritizing features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value and user needs.

Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a clear roadmap for the Platform capabilities, ensuring alignment with Volvo North Star Architecture strategy and objectives.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of cloud technology specialists to ensure the highest level of performance and reliability for Vehicle Platform as Service.

 

Required Qualifications/Skills:

To excel in this role, we're looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Expertise: Prior experience in embedded software development within the automotive sector is highly beneficial. Knowledge and experience in cloud technologies, particularly with Microsoft Azure services.

Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication & presentation skills with stakeholder management experience. A servant leader who comprehends the dynamics of leading technical topics. Ability to create an inclusive team environment, demonstrating concern for success and well-being.

Agile Proficiency: Familiarity with agile cultures and methodologies, including experience with Agile methodology.
