Position Summary:
The role of the project manager is to be methodical in applying organizational skills to the focus on managing a multitude of projects as part of the Buyers Gude research program. The project manager will focus on the governance and schedule to ensure timely delivery. The ability to report and identify potential challenges to timeliness based on resource availability. Work closely with research analyst and program management along with client success teams and collaborate on the health of Buyers Guide research programs and communicate with software providers.
Position Description:
The ISG Project Manager will be dedicated to the success of the Buyers Guides with internal stakeholders and external software providers. The role is expected to ensure the efficiency of the projects through daily and weekly review to achieve optimum outcomes and participating in weekly review meetings. The Project Manager is expected to discover and learn about topics of Buyers Guide through working with team members to ensure optimal results. The individual will have significant project management experience, strong English writing and speaking skills, extensive experience in spreadsheets, and exceptional organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
· Project Management, specifically managing Buyers Guide research projects
· Develop project schedules and maintain project progress
· Co-ordinate with various stakeholders to manage the progress of the projects
· Adjust project tracking tools for specific projects
· Maintenance of software provider participation tracker
· Schedule of briefing calls with various stakeholders
· Managing software provider expectations effectively without delays
· Update trackers with new risks, issues, and change requests
· Work with quality and production teams for delivering research deliverables
Skills Required:
· 3-6 years of overall experience in PM. Ideally would have experience managing across different time zones.
· Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing tasks to ensure deadlines and stakeholder expectations are met
· Highly proficient at MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project)
· Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management
· Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts where tracking project dependencies and milestones are important for success
· Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Education level and experience:
· Computer Science degree from recognized institutes preferably with MBA
· Overall good academic track-record
