We are seeking a Configuration Change Planning specialist with expertise in routers (Ericsson R6K) and Utmost switches. You will be responsible for planning and implementing configuration activities as per network requirements. Additionally, you will handle updates, troubleshooting, and IP configuration changes. The role also requires participation in technical discussions to improve network performance. Good knowledge of IP protocols and GSM/WCDMA/LTE/5G call flows is essential. This is a 24/7 on-call support role with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in engineering.

What you will do

  • Configuration Change Planning: effectively plan to implement all Configuration activities related to routers (Ericsson R6K) & Utmost switches as per the network requirements.
  • Configuration/updates handling and Troubleshooting on various Ericsson NWIE, Site and Core Router nodes.
  • IP configuration changes for 2G,3G,4G,5G RAN site migration
  • 24*7 On Call Support for IPRAN problems
  • Participate in internal technical discussions in view to improve overall network performance and make recommendations wherever possible.
  • Complete system configuration related changes as per given access rights.
  • Ensure EOE Processes are followed in the Workplace

You will bring

  • Good Expertise on IP Protocols (i.e. OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, BFD, VRRP, VSD)
  • Clear & detailed understanding of GSM/WCDMA/LTE/5G Call flows
  • Good exposure to Router of Ericsson
  • Education: Academic degree or equivalent experience, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom)
  • Experience: 3-5 years.
