About this opportunity

  • The Technical Authority Expert is responsible for specific systems by performing the following activities:
  • Configuration Change Planning: effectively plan to implement all Configuration activities related to routers (Cisco, Juniper, Ericsson, Huawei, Alcatel-lucent) & Acute switches as per the network requirements.
  • SDN and Python scripting knowledge.
  • Integrating new node, reconfiguration of existing nodes, shifting of traffic etc.
  • Upgrades & updates (router/switch/firewall)
  • Defining firewall policies, opening port & configuring routing.
  • Pre/Post change checks: to ensure that the configuration activity has been carried out accurately without any impact on services, Pre/post activity checks and testing have to be done.

What you will do !

  • Very Good configuration and troubleshooting expertise on IP Protocols (i.e. OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, BFD, VRRP).
  • Hands on experience on solutions such as Cisco SDN. (APIC controller and ACI fabric).
  • Good understanding on Nokia SDN (Nuage) , NFV.
  • Clear & detailed understanding of GSM/GPRS/WCDMA/LTE/IN Call flows
  • Good exposure to Router/Switch/Firewall of MPBN nodes of Cisco / Juniper / Ericsson / Huawei / Alcatel-lucent.
  • Understanding and awareness of switching.

  • To ensure configuration/ upgrades / updates handling on various MPBN nodes.
  • SDN and Python scripting knowledge.
  • To participate in internal technical discussions in view to improve overall network performance and make recommendations wherever possible.
  • Implement system configuration related changes as per given access rights.
  • To ensure EOE Processes are followed in the Workplace.
  • Qualifications: [B.E./B.Tech. preferably in Electronics and Communication Engineering]
  • Relevant Experience: 5-10 years (relevant to IP Network & SDN)

Job description: Must Have Skills:( Thycotic ) Should have minimum (5-7) years of PAM And EPM experience and (2 to 3) Years in Thycotic EPM. Ability to maintain all aspects of Thycotic product delivery and services that include deployments, assessments, strategy especially in Endpoint Privilege Management. Experience in performing Privileged Access Reviews, Compliance Reporting, Access Control Processes, and other associated tasks with Thycotic Good understanding of end point on-boarding and off-boarding processes for different platforms such as Mac, Windows servers, Laptops, VDI. Good understanding of Local accounts administration within Windows/Mac systems. Monitor data collected by agents to develop policies for identified end points. Implement developed policies to identify end points. Ongoing review of policies and data collected from agents regarding elevated privilege needs. Modify existing policies, Implement new policies Responsible for overall administration of the EPM solution On-board all EPM relevant endpoints in the customer environment Monitor logs, events and alerts and troubleshoot as required to address any reported issues Perform health check monitoring on all solution components to ensure consistent availability of system to end user Should have hands-on experience in creating policies, managing the computer groups within Thycotic PMC. Should have good troubleshoot knowledge in understanding the issue and defining policies, whitelist application in EPM policy for user issue. Should have knowledge in the install, uninstall, upgrading and monitoring the Thycotic EPM agent in targets. Maturity and discipline to follow established processes and detailed technical procedures to ensure consistency and predictability.Other Skills good to have: Experience in deployment and implementation of any of the other Thycotic tool: Thycotic EPM Experience in working with the Network devices like firewalls, routers, etc. Should have the ability to understand customer scenario and requirements (may include customized integration situations) and be capable of suggesting solutions. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global counterparts.
