Qualification Required:  B.Tech/BE/Diploma in Mechanical/Automotive engineering

 

Relevant Experience Required/skill set

 

1.     5-7 years of total work experience preferably in automotive/powertrain

2.     Hands on experience in defining process steps for powertrain assembly

3.     Experience in ePowertrain (good to have), Transmission, transaxle assembly processes

4.     Hands on experience in PFD, PFMEA, WI/Core quality tools

5.     Technical discussion understanding

6.     Very good skills in Microsoft office (excel/power point/word)

7.     Good analytical and communication skills, basic understanding of German language

8.      Demonstrated ability to prioritize and schedule daily task

9.      Very good knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949/VDA 6.3 standards

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

·       Support Counter part in preparing process steps for Power train assembly

·       Act as a multiplier to train CKD Powertrain plants

·       Support counter part to prepare the project time plan/quality planning

·       Business travel to Powertrain mother plant and CKD plants to establish processes for power train assembly

·       Monitor the completion of task and record on appropriate system

·       Support counter part for regular updates in documentation and ensure change management within PT assembly plants

·       Support quality assurance team for audits and Q planning related inputs

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer with expertise in 1D system model preparation, flow and thermal simulations, and functional evaluation of powertrain cooling systems. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out design iterations, proposing counter measures, and developing methods or concept studies. The ability to understand sub-system interactions and work with test data for validation is crucial. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are required for reporting and interactions with global counterparts. Knowledge in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, air-conditioning, and vehicle dynamics is necessary. German language skills are an added advantage. Experience with 1D simulation tools like GT-SUITE/Flow Master/KULI and co-simulation tools like MATLAB/SIMULINK is preferred. A qualification of M.Tech/MS in Thermal/Mechanical or equivalent is required.
