About the Role
As a Regional Supply Planner Finished Goods for one of our regions North America, Europe, or Asia Pacific within the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) organization, you will be responsible for optimizing the supply chain process for your designated region. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing supply plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the availability of products to meet customer demands while minimizing inventory costs and supply chain risks.
Your Team
The role will report to the Global Constrained FG Supply Planning Lead with potentially 4-7 individual contributors reporting into the role depending on the needs of the organization in the future.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement supply planning strategies tailored to the specific needs of the assigned region, considering demand forecasts, production capacities, and inventory targets.
- Collaborate closely with demand planning teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting and align supply plans to meet customer requirements efficiently.
- Work with local supply and capacity planners to optimize production plans, manage capacities, and ensure seamless material availability for your designated business unit.
- Identify potential supply chain risks related to the specific business unit and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply.
- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track supply-related metrics, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with various teams within the SIOP organization, including demand planning, inventory planning, and material planning, to ensure a seamless supply chain operation.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance supply planning processes for the designated business unit, leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices.
- Lead the monthly Supply Review Meetings
- Implement the HARMAN competencies of Leadership, Collaboration, Judgement and Results Driven and actively participate in executing the SIOP strategy to ensure end to end Resilience of the supply chain.
What You Need
- Applicant Shall have 8+ years of experience in the field of Supply chain & operations planning.
Bachelor/Master’s in supply chain related fields and Certifications from accredited bodies such as ASCM preferred.
- Expert knowledge of automotive industry including supply chain dynamics with at least 5+ years automotive experience
- Proven experience in supply planning, production planning, or related roles, preferably within the specific business unit.
- Strong understanding of supply planning principles, demand forecasting, and inventory management practices.
- Proficiency in using supply chain planning software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and data analytics tools.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize supply planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Problem-solving orientation with a proactive approach to addressing supply chain challenges.
- Adaptable and resilient, able to navigate changing business requirements and supply chain dynamics.

What Makes You Eligible
- Be willing to travel up to 5-10%, domestic and/or international travel and if required work in the manufacturing plants for short periods of time.
- Be willing to work in an office (hybrid) with close collaboration with manufacturing sites across the organization.
