Description & Requirements About the Role At HARMAN, we know that effective collaboration and business agility are among the most critical success factors in delivering customer value.  As part of our Build and Integration (B&I) team, you will work closely with your team members and our Project Leaders Software Integration on day-to-day software integration tasks. You will be responsible for integrating software components and ensuring seamless functionality across multiple systems. You will already have some basic knowledge of Git/Gerrit, Jenkins and will want to learn Yocto and Python as a second language. You will be given the opportunity to gain/upgrade all the knowledge and skills needed to build and maintain our CI/CD toolchain. You will enjoy working in an international team. And you share the vision of transforming HARMAN into a state-of-the-art software company with world-class software integration processes focused on efficiency and quality. Your Team The role reports to the Manager of Build and Integration India. As an individual contributor, you will be well connected to all our Software Integrators and Project Leaders, Software Integration around the world working on our projects. What You Will Do Perform day-to-day software integration activities to ensure compatibility and functionality between different systems. Develop and maintain our CI/CD environment to automate build, test and deployment processes. Set up/configure build pipelines for unit testing, delta static code analysis (DSCA), MR FOSS scan and integration testing. Update/modify scripts to improve CI/CD development workflow according to project needs. Perform software integration activities in accordance with HARMAN BMS and Automotive SPICE requirements. Perform day-to-day software integration activities, ensuring compatibility and functionality across different systems. What You Need Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent related field. Open to learning and improving your technical skills. Basic knowledge and technical understanding of continuous build systems, version control systems, and configuration management. Fluent English skills and good communication abilities. What is Nice to Have Experience in the field of Software Integration, CI/CD, and/or DevOps. Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, and Bash. Basic knowledge of Yocto and/or Docker and/or Kubernetes. What Makes You Eligible Intrinsically motivated, achievement-oriented, and deeply passionate about technology. Quick to grasp concepts and adept at structured reasoning. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Fast learner, able to synthesize large amounts of information accurately. Demonstrate robust critical thinking and adept problem-solving skills.
