About the Role

 

This position is responsible for all Assembly stations & tester machine maintenance activity

This includes, attending breakdown, equipment troubleshooting, anew machine installation, panel wiring, maintaining calibration of devices, Documentation activity, poke yoke, MTTR, FTT etc…

 

 

What You Need

Education: Diploma in EEE or ECE

Experience: 2-5 Years in Automotive industry

Strong knowledge in Basic Electronics, Panel Wiring & Schematics, Pneumatics, and Equipment troubleshooting, new equipment installation, Document activity, & having exposure in C coding, basic HW design & Mechanical design is added advantage

As a Assembly and Test Technician, you will be responsible for: Perform inspection of purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment  Determine and execute the methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for work completion  Work from engineering drawings, sketches, data sheets, specifications, and computers Use a variety of tools, and follow processes to produce defect-free work  Test finished electrical cabinet assemblies (i.e. read and understand wiring diagrams, end to end wiring tests, mechanical layout checks, Insulation resistance and continuity tests) Perform Functional tests on installed equipment Set up customer computers and associated networks Update technical and quality documentation Act as technology resource for the production floor Learn and use Six Sigma methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency Test monitoring systems (i.e. Bently Nevada 3500) which includes downloading configuration files, applying test signals Execute factory acceptance test plans and recording test results Frequently interface with customers during Factory Acceptance Tests Assist Project Engineers with changes to 3500 and S1 configurations Witness Flow cell calibrations at designated vendor locations which will involve frequent traveling Perform other duties as necessary to support Cabinet Shop team Takes initiative to learn new skills Work effectively in a multi-team environment    Fuel your passion Associate degree in Electronics from an accredited college or university or diploma with 3 years relevant electronics test experience Minimum 6 months of experience in electronics trouble shooting and Cabinet Assembly Work overtime, weekends, and holidays, as required Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending environment and other physical activities Be in a shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required Lift objects weighing up to 25 kgs Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities Good knowledge of wiring diagrams, blueprints, or assembly prints
