WHAT YOU'LL DO


As a Contract Manager you will work with the Enterprise Procurement & Payables (EP&P) team and directly with
stakeholders across the globe to draft and negotiate moderate complexity contracts, lead contract renewals adhering
to BCG contract standards and best-in-class terms to ensure that contractual coverage is maintained and expanded. You may also assist with inquiries regarding software licensing definitions/reporting and support software usage management and optimization strategies. You will work across control groups including Legal and Information
Security, IT to ensure agreements meet BCG legal standards and proper reviews have taken place prior to contract execution. You will ensure contracts are stored in the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool and all data fields are up to date and use the CLM reporting to proactively identify required contract renewals.
 

YOU'RE GOOD AT


 

  • Proven negotiation skills, a record of accomplishment in structuring progressive vendor arrangements across a variety of vendor types and also contracting experience.
  • High level of intellectual agility, initiative, self-motivation, tenacity, and the ability to negotiate and bring together different audiences.
  • Excellent analytical skills, and a high skill set in Excel and PowerPoint is considered a pre-requisite for the role.
  • Ability to independently resolve complex issues/problems but seeks advice and counsel for decisions including key stakeholders where appropriate.
  • Focus on industry and market best practices.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to get stakeholder buy-in for initiatives and projects.
  • Demonstrates advanced communication skills: oral, written and active listening.
  • You have the ability to quickly build effective relationships on a global basis.
  • You independently resolve complex issues/problems, while seeking advice where appropriate
  • You can manage a large number of projects simultaneously, working to agreed timelines and can clearly communicate progress and milestones to stakeholders across the projects on a timely basis.
  • You have the ability to effectively handle difficult and stressful situations with poise and tact.


 

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
 

  • BA/BS degree in relevant field
  • Knowledge of procurement and sourcing, with at least 5 years’ experience in a related position within a global organization or professional services company; with 2-5 years of Software & SaaS related experience and / or software license entitlement management.
  • Proven track record of drafting and negotiating agreements and leading contract negotiations with suppliers, both new and renewals
  • Execution oriented management of a portfolio of agreements
  • Experience in software licensing, usage/optimization & asset management is a plus.
  • Experience formulating clear and concise communications orally and written (in email and PowerPoint) working directly with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.

WHAT YOU'LL DO In the capacity of an Administrative Assistant (“AA”) you are required to support multiple senior stakeholders based globally (APAC, Europe & US).
