Job Objective
Overseeing the Procurement and related commercial activities in Deployment of Smart Metering solutions
in Power Distribution Utilities across India.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for the procurement and commercial structure/framework for the project.
Developing and monitoring the subcontractor and supply agreement process.
Prepares bidder pre-qualifications, bidder lists, negotiation plans, bid solicitations, bid analysis,
award recommendations and commitments, including aspects of purchase order
administration.
Should possess knowledge of vendors and their registration process.
Issue of RFQ, receive bids in time and prepare Cost Benefit Analysis and Final
Recommendations.
Prepares and organizes assigned Procurement-sponsored meetings, such as pre-award kick-off
or Post award progress meetings, to ensure complete understanding and agreement between
EDF, the customer and supplier on all purchase order matters.
Communicates with suppliers and personnel within EDF to establish clear definition of
requirements, and to assure performance to purchase order terms and conditions.
Responsible for assigned Purchase orders from development through closure, to include the
completion of deliverables and order closeout; to include supporting management of backcharges
and claims.
Evaluates schedules and progress reports from vendors to determine if their programs and
work progress meet jobsite requirements in coordination with deployment team.
Compiles data needed to prepare the critical items reports or other supplementary reports as
required.
Coordinates with Deployment team or jobsite project expeditors to establish priorities,
sequences and required delivery dates and instructs Vendors accordingly.
Should have knowledge of Incoterms & Logistics.
Performs tasks involved in the formation and administration of purchase orders.
Should have experience on project implementation under various phases.

Qualification and Experience requirements
Qualification:
Graduation - B.Sc./B. Com/B. Tech).
Post-Graduation - MBA (Desirable).
Diploma in Basic Computer Education - MS Office.
Experience:
Overall, 10 to 14 years of experience as Procurement Specialist in leading Construction/Power
Companies.
Experience of working with Government clients would be desirable
