What is this position all about:

Accounts Payables is responsible for the management of service delivery by the HBC India team in support of  the company’s Accounts Payable process for the processing of Vendor invoices. This includes invoice receipts, approval, and processing, as well as identifying and solving any issues requiring solutions to allow efficient payment processing.

What You Will Do:

·       Process expense Invoices, check requests, and expense reports on a regular basis accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices.

·       Perform monthly reconciliations

·       Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and Procedures.

·       Perform data entry associated with accounts payable

·       Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies Audit and process credits

·       Address and respond to vendor inquiries

·       Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enable the GIC to succeed as well as build the employer brand in the community

 

What You Will Need:

·       Experience in the development and implementation of internal accounting processes as part of a “start up”? operation in a Shared Service / MNC environment.

·       Working knowledge of local Indian financial reporting and tax compliance requirements

·       Strong working experience in Tally

·       Support financial reporting activities and ensure financial integrity of operations. Completing the month-end / quarter-end / year-end activities and prepare MIS including necessary.

·        Various ad – hoc analysis and process improvement projects to drive efficiency

Other Preferences:

·       This would general shift ( 11 am to 8 pm)

·       Ready to spend additional hours at work as per business requirements

·       Work Location: Bangalore

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

·       Graduation preferably in Finance (B.com/ BBM/ BBA/ MBA)

·       Excellent knowledge of Google Suite (Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and high proficiency in

·       Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

          Strong oral and written communication

Collaborate with product management, software engineering, and QA teams to maintain high standards for availability and customer experience. Manage and maintain routine business processes and continuity jobs and schedules to ensure day-to-day operations. Manage, renew, and maintain TLS certificates for both external and internal systems. Handle account access and development environment administration and their routine audits for internal users. Develop and maintain Bash scripts for automating API transactions and basic data processing. Handle tier 1 technical support requests for our internal ticketing system, utilizing strong customer service and communication skills. Develop and maintain technical documentation and runbooks related to day-to-day responsibilities and alerts. Participate in a tier 1 on-call responsibility driven by modern alerting tools, such as PagerDuty and Datadog.   JOB QUALIFICATIONS Key Qualifications:  2+ years of experience in Systems Administration, or equivalent IT help desk experience. Experience building scripts, tooling, and automation using programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash. Experience with implementing and using monitoring, alerting, and observability tools such as Datadog and PagerDuty. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred: Working knowledge of IP networking, Internet protocols (HTTP, HTTPS), load balancers and high availability architecture. Strongly desired: experience in the retail or fashion industries
