Job description
The position is in the DevOps / Network Automation team, a part of Juniper Professional Services. In this role the candidate needs to take multiple responsibilities at a given time in the Project.
There is a wide range of technical offerings which the Consultant will be expected to deliver, ranging from Solution, Design, Coding, Deployment, Configuration, Customization and Training. Since the Team is a customer focus team, the candidate should be good in communication both written as well as Verbal.

Strong design and implementation experience
Commitment to delivering a remarkable customer experience
Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Comp Science or similar discipline
Excellent and deep hands on and planning capabilities in SDN and Software Projects.
Knowledge in Container based Microservice architectures
Experience in Designing Multi-cloud Environments
Strong experience in container-based Cloud Management Platforms (Kubernetes & OpenShift)
Good understanding of networking virtualization (VMware, GCP, AWS)
Working experience in Python. Should have hands on programming knowledge
Good knowledge in XML, YAML, JINJA & YANG
Good knowledge in Ansible
Good experience in Helm.
Working experience in GIT & JENKINS
Should have good experience in developing Pipelines.
Should have good knowledge in SNMP, Kafka, Elastic Search, and NoSQL database.
Knowledge in REST API’s.
Should have exposure to framework development.
Preferred Skills:
Good technical understanding of distributed systems, large-scale server and cloud infrastructures
Exposure to Multi cloud deployments in AWS / Azure / Google Cloud technologies
Experience in deploying & managing clustered applications
Should have Network Automation Domain knowledge
Network Management, Telco Cloud exposure is preferable.
Knowledge on Telemetry streaming, or any kind of streaming protocol is desirable.
The candidate will be involved in leading projects and hence some level of leadership skill is desirable.
Should be able to mentor his junior and work closely with them to deliver customer projects.
Prior Customer Engagement experience is preferable.
Working experience in Scrum / Agile methodology is preferable.
The candidate may need to get involved in Customer Management, Stake Holder management and Negotiation with Customers and hence candidate having these skills will be preferable
