Job description 

Director of TA (Talent Acquisition), India 

We are seeking an exceptional Director of Talent Acquisition who will excel in this pivotal role reporting to the VP (Vice President) of Talent Acquisition based in the US (United States). In this position, you will develop and foster strong partnerships with executives and key leaders across the organization. You will play a crucial role in streamlining processes, crafting training programs, and spearheading innovative pipeline-building and sourcing strategies. Your leadership will be data-driven, guiding your decisions in leading the regional talent acquisition team. You will exhibit strategic, operational, and tactical prowess as you lead recruitment efforts and actively implement talent acquisition solutions, enabling the company to attract and hire the best talent. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Execute the talent acquisition strategy to meet business current and future needs; specifically scaling the recruiting efforts to support a high growthorganization. 
  • Drive team performance through the utilization of metric and data-centered decisions 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. 
  • Drive talent acquisition programs, practices, and initiatives 
  • Develop and facilitate university recruiting while establishing strong relationships with key universities.  
  • Ability to coach and influence business leadership on talent acquisition best practices 
  • Experience aligning talent acquisition best practices with systems and processes. 
  • Report on recruiting metrics and hiring progress to execs and senior leadership consistently. 
  • Campus hires, Employee referrals, internal career development, and vendor management 
  • Collaborate and work closely with other global talent acquisition leaders to maintain a global alignment within talent acquisition.  

 

Qualifications:  

  • Execute the comprehensive talent acquisition strategy encompassing multi-level hiring and people management.  
  • Possess an innovative and creative mindset, capable of thinking outside the box. 
  • Experience in understanding company culture and values to inform hiring assessments. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks within a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. 
  • Embrace change and lead the talent acquisition team through continuous transformation and improvement.  
  • Demonstrate a strong record of accomplishment in spearheading improvement projects for systems, processes, and training to enhance best practices. 
  • Display attention to detail, commitment to follow-through, and dedication to execution. 
  • Operate with self-direction, a results-driven approach, resourcefulness, and a robust work ethic.  
  • Communicate effectively through verbal and written skills, particularly when presenting innovative ideas and best practices to influence senior leadership.
