Position Overview:

 

As the Global Learning and Development and Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the learning, development, and engagement initiatives across our global organization. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing comprehensive learning programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and promoting employee engagement to enhance talent development and retention. You will collaborate with HR leaders, L&D teams, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals and values.

Experience: 9+ years.

 

Roles And Responsibilities:

 

  • Learning and Development Strategy: Develop and execute a global learning and development strategy that aligns with the organization's vision and supports individual and team growth.
  • Learning Program Design: Design and implement engaging and impactful learning programs, including workshops, online courses, coaching sessions, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Talent Development: Identify high-potential employees and implement talent development programs to nurture their skills and prepare them for future leadership roles.
  • Learning Needs Analysis: Conduct regular needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities, leveraging data to inform learning priorities.
  • Learning Technology: Oversee the implementation and utilization of learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), to optimize learning delivery and tracking globally.
  • Employee Engagement Strategy: Develop and execute employee engagement strategies to foster a positive work environment and promote a sense of belonging among employees worldwide.
  • Employee Feedback and Surveys: Design and analyse employee feedback surveys to measure engagement levels and identify areas for improvement.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Champion DEI initiatives within the organization, ensuring that learning and development programs promote diversity and inclusivity.
  • Global Employee Recognition: Implement and manage global employee recognition programs to acknowledge and appreciate employee contributions and achievements.
  • Performance Management: Collaborate with HR and managers to align learning and development initiatives with the performance management process.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Manage the L&D and engagement budget efficiently, allocating resources to maximize the impact of initiatives.
  • Learning Metrics and Evaluation: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and ROI of learning and engagement initiatives.

 

Requirements and Qualification:

  • Experience working for a Software/ IT company is a must.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Psychology, Education, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience of 9+ years in global learning and development, talent management, or employee engagement roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of learning methodologies, instructional design, and best practices in talent development.
  • Strong understanding of employee engagement strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity to effectively navigate diverse global environments.
  • Previous experience in implementing DEI initiatives is a plus.
  • Certifications in Learning and Development (e.g., CPLP) or Employee Engagement are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
