Description of the role

The Senior Manager, Engagement Manager will be a strong Data & Analytics experienced professional, who can build strong relationships with the clients and delivery teams in ensuring larger business goals are met and value is demonstrated to the clients. This role requires good end-to-end Retail knowledge and any experience delivering Analytics for a Retailer in any capacity is a plus.

 

Must have Skills

  • 10+ years’ experience in Data & Analytics delivery, Program Management, Sales and Client management.
  • Experience leading and building analytics teams
  • Retail Functional consultant with expertise across different aspects of retail including Customer, Loyalty, Sales, Marketing, Service, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Stores
  • Client-facing experience in a consulting environment playing the role of a business advisor. You must have the ability to build relationships as a trusted advisor with key client stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to understand a client’s industry domain and context to develop points of view and thought leadership.
  • Strong teamwork skills are required to work with engineering, product management, marketing teams at customer sites to handle technical onboarding and continuously optimize Tredence’s integrations. Ability to align with the sales and pre-sales teams to consult with clients to confirm and map business goals and metrics.
  • Build and lead teams to engage with clients to identify opportunities for leveraging decision sciences and analytics.
  • Experience in leading complex engagements on data engineering, analytics or data science
  • Understanding of popular technology stacks such as Python, Azure, GCP, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks
  • Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for acting as a liaison between clients, delivery teams and retail vertical leadership to identify opportunities of growth in the accounts and lead account strategy and planning initiatives.
  • Engage with clients in North America and Europe to ensure existing engagements are being delivered flawlessly and exceeding client expectations
  • Manage a set of commercial accounts, sales plans, and activities, to ensure true value demonstration and customer advocacy.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with decision makers and influencers in the customer’s organizations.
  • Identify clear sales plans and documentation in the customer relationship management (CRM), leveraging unique value propositions to shape opportunities for the customer and increase revenues from deals to have complete transparency and consistency in Tredence’s delivery to customers.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to build appropriate data and analytical reporting solutions that provide insight into the performance of initiatives, using all available data sources.
  • Contribute to the financial planning of the team, through the provision of accurate sales forecasts and fulfillment.
  • Lead proposal developments, negotiations, and commercial terms for large deals.
  • Responsible for overall engagements at the account and ensuring delivery teams are producing quality deliverables
  • Actively engage with the internal stakeholders, market research organizations, and stay up to date with Retail Industry Trends, seeking out information to share with customers.
  • Participate in quarterly and annual business review meetings with senior leadership to assist in business planning and decision making.
  • Guide end-users in identifying Key Performance Indicators for their areas and leverage it to evaluate and assess business needs
