• Deliver agreed objectives on time and according to budget.
• Plan objectives according to agreed scope.
• Actively communicate all relevant information ensuring close collaboration in GD and with other relevant units.
• Ensure that KONE and GD policies, procedures and processes are meet (including external providers).
• Gather best practices to share amongst the team and other units/teams.
• Follow up any key developments in your area.
• Manage ITC (Information Technology and Communication) infrastructure in order to meet business and GD requirements, cost effectively and without compromising the overall technology strategy, security and standards.
• Collect and analyse information regarding the ITC environment taking into account business requirements to formulate the scope and objectives.
• Work with (local or global depending on role) outsourcing partners (HP, AT&T etc) to achieve agreed objectives.
• Understanding of Service Management, managing SLA’s and working with 3rd parties.
• Prepare flow charts, models, and procedures and conduct feasibility studies to design possible system and security solutions.
• Write system and programming specifications so that when the system/procedure is implemented it will meet user + business needs.
• Estimate the costs of system solutions and prepare project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritising projects and allocating ITC resources.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (processes, procedures and instructions) to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system/area.
• Support projects in evaluating ITC/security needs including costs, equipment and time estimations and overall architecture.
• Develop standards for ITC infrastructure in your area, possibly including desktops, laptops, applications, software, services, data centers, infrastructure, networks, security etc.
• Design, implement and maintain an appropriate range of ITC facilitates (possibly including data centers, call centers and GSD), taking into account the balance between location, communication. and risks to ensure that at all times KONE is making cost effective investments in ITC
• Maintain agreed availability levels of all ITC services.
• Ensure that ITC/security specific best cases are shared amongst the ITC community.
• As required communicate and take part in problem solving for operations in system/application outages in your relevant area.
• Communicate to relevant stakeholder, developments, outages and changes in your area.
