Technical Architect, Finance Applications            

This role, is responsible for the end-to-end architecture of our Finance solutions, including their assembly and integration into the IT architecture principles defined. The holder will validate and approve all designs and work closely with Solution Owners, Solution Design Owners, Architects and business stakeholders to drive solution architecture, enabling high performance, maintainability, scalability and secure future-proof, best-in-breed IT systems that will be the best fit to support the business processes.

The Technical Architect is responsible for establishing guidelines and principles that enable KONE’s development and operations partners to successfully deliver what is required.

Main responsibilities  

• Accountable for the technical design and architecture of KONE’s end-to-end technical solutions for KONE Finance, including integrations to other business applications
• Create and maintain technical strategy and architecture for Finance applications.
• Validate, contribute and approve all technical designs related to the end-to-end solutions used by KONE Finance.
• Lead discussions with stakeholders, explaining architecture options and recommendations impacting the Finance domain
• Collaborate with other technology teams on the deployment, configuration, system support of multiple services across an expansive and diverse technology environment
• Contribute to the future roadmap of capabilities and enhancements, based on your expert and up-to-date knowledge of what is available in the market
• Provide architectural guidance to KONE projects that have interaction with the Finance IT solutions, be part of relevant technical project steering groups.

Requirements for the role

• An experienced professional with a strong background in IT solutions for Finance domain, within a complex / large-scale hybrid environment
• A degree in Management Information, Business Administration, Finance or related discipline
• Minimum 10+ years of hands on Finance domain experience closely working with the IT solution design and/or deployment.
• Good knowledge of applications and technology enablers for corporate finance processes (e.g. transaction processing, accounting operations)
• A particularly strong experience working with Treasury applications and SAP FICO
• An ability to produce, enhance and drive architecture blueprints, roadmaps and associated principles
• Demonstrated track record of clear achievements from previous positions held
• Passion and “can do” attitude for change management, continuous improvement and learning
• Proven ability to succeed in diverse globally distributed matrix organizations
• Experience in leading virtual teams in an international working environment is an advantage
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English
• Solid knowledge and experience in applying standard IT best practice frameworks - relevant certification is appreciated.
• Strong experience in supplier collaboration with off-shoring mode
