Summary: As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for defining the data requirements and structure for the application. Your typical day will involve modeling and designing the application data structure, storage, and integration using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of data integration solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). - Handling team, distributing the work, and ensuring quality deliverables. - Requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing & deployment skills of SSIS packages. - Experience on best practice and coding standards on SSIS packages - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across the organization. - Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and other documentation to support data integration and analysis activities. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Minimum 8+ years of IT experience - 6+ years of extensive database experience with a good knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing Concepts. - Minimum 6+ years of experience on SQL Server Integration Services 2012 2014 and above - Knowledge on SSIS control flow, Data flows, Transformation, Configuration, and logging. - Experience in multi-site project model, client communication skills. - Knowledge on version control and estimate techniques. - Minimum 3+ years of experience on SQL Server 2016 and above. - Knowledge on Store Procedures, Functions, Dynamic SQL, queries, Locks, Tables, Database creation, Roles, Backup/restore, Deployment, Archival - Azure SQL DB knowledge, no hands on expected but must know the working principles Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in technology and information architectures, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Mumbai office.
