Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical ; electronics / mechanical / industrial Engineering, science or equivalent experience
· At least 7+ total experience with 3+ years’ experience in Product Data Management of component engineering program management, operations, engineering understanding in above responsibility areas
· Demonstrate excellent communication, written, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualification:
· Component / QCL lifecycle management, change management experience with PDM / PLM tools like ARAS, Windchill, Agile
· Working knowledge of data analytics tools (Power BI)
· Familiar with Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) and metal/plastic fabrication processes would be a plus.
· Experience with power electronics and utility products will be advantage.
· Experience understanding component datasheets, tracking component lifecycles and qualifications
· Experience managing or resolving change notifications (PCRs / PCNs), component EOLs and obsolescence with substitutes and alternates
· Hardware certifications have an advantage
Responsibility
· Owns and manages PDME SKU hardware programs, successfully delivering complex projects and goals across cross functions.
· Reviews, analyze and optimize Bills of Materials (BOM’s) down to manufacturer part level.
· Review Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s), Manufacturing Change Orders (MCO’s) and Deviations to ensure qualified components list is updated accordingly.
· Initiate and lead the efforts to identify process improvements, cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
· Track component lifecycles and qualifications. Proactively identify and drive solutions to resolve End-of-life (EOL) and obsolete situations and minimize impacts.
· Understand component technology roadmaps/trends and present them to Design Engineering.
· Manage escalations for high visibility projects
· Transform and drive scalable engineering process improvements, initiatives, and other related activities in collaboration with QCL team.
· Manage team workflows and active queues to ensure SLAs are met, and cycle times are reduced
· Work directly with customers, and partner teams to develop scalable solutions and ensure ongoing operations support business need and project timelines
· Manages communication to senior management on status, risks, and process/product/tool changes.
· Owns program communication, decisions, removing blockers, and escalations if applicable.
· Proven passion to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is required.
