Job Summary:

  • The Global Compensation Manager supports the global Total Rewards team in the day to day analysis, execution, and communication of programs and policies related to compensation. Works collaboratively and cross functionally with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, business leaders and other Total Reward team members to ensure base pay is properly reviewed and analysed with consideration to internal equity within the local compensation structure. Independently provides compensation analysis by having an active role in the design development, implementation and administration of compensation policies and procedures to ensure fair and consistent application and accomplishment of Human Resources' objectives. Leads efforts in the development of special studies and recommendations on a variety of compensation projects, programs, and policies. Compensation programs may include Base Salary, Short and Long-term Incentive Plans, Executive Compensation Plans, Equity Programs, Job Design, Job Descriptions, Salary Surveys, and related programs.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Serves as subject matter expert in analyzing job descriptions, compensation components and external market trends to support the business in making compensation related decisions that aligns with internal equity, external competitiveness and legal compliance of pay practices.
  • Takes an active role in leading the planning, coordination, administration, and reporting of the annual merit process.
  • Participates in salary surveys, interprets salary data and performs annual market pricing to validate and make recommendations for changes to existing compensation structures.
  • Develops education and communication materials and provides training on compensation policies, practices and programs for employees, managers, business leaders, and HR.
  • Participates in the research for, and ongoing development and administration of a compensation program that matches Epiq's global needs.
  • Partners with the HR Technology team to drive automation for efficiency and data integrity related to the global compensation structure, job structure and compensation related business processes.
  • Participates in the administrative processes related to Epiq's global job structure including the creation of job codes.
