JOB DESCRIPTION

What is the role about? 

You are passionate about building brand conversations and communities on social media. You understand technology and science behind all social platforms, and how to create the right creative and content strategy to drive awareness and salience. You are curious about macro and micro developments across digital and social media and are able to identify the right opportunities to drive brand narratives. You have a desire to try out new things and experiment with content ideas. You have the right strategies and tactics at play to drive business objectives via social and have the itch to continuously reinvent the playbook. You will partner with marketing, product, design and business teams to deliver experiences that delight our customers, spark conversations and drive business results. You will inspire action from cross functional teams through creative ideas and data-driven insights and execute with operational rigour and efficiency.

What will you be doing?

  • Plan and drive the social media strategy for all Glance brands in alignment with brand and business goals.
  • Analyze consumer needs, market trends, and competitive developments to define the social platform specific roadmap for all the Glance brands and work closely with the functional teams to drive the right narratives
  • To manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube and planning, creating, and implementing content strategies with the internal and external teams, agencies and partners.
  • Work in tandem with the brand marketing teams to plan and execute social media campaigns across the respective brand channels.
  • Plan and deliver on content ideas to drive core brand narratives and conversations across social media throughout the year from planning all the way to delivery while working hand in hand with cross-functional teams
  • Leverage insights and data to understand user behaviours and create innovative and creative work that will delight and surprise users across social channels and cut through the clutter
  • Coordinate the in-depth evaluation of all social media campaigns and proactively optimize strategies based on learnings.
  • Set up measurement frameworks and track and share performance across all platforms in terms of KPI lift.
  • Manage ORM: Communicate with followers, respond to queries on a daily basis, and monitor customer reviews.
  • Manage social media budgets and create a strategy to drive a mix of organic and paid marketing efforts to meet specific brand goals.

 

What is expected out of you? 

  • Bachelor's degree with MBA from a top Indian university strongly preferred
  • 7-10 years of experience in social media & content marketing, preferably in consumer internet industry
  • Strong content marketing skills to create and design brand narratives, content ideas, blogs, videos and more
  • Strong hold and understanding of the social listening and social management tools
  • Experience in Digital project management and agile execution methods is a plus
  • Able to create visionary ideas while at the same time handle daily business
  • Skilled communicator and relationship-builder who can convey ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment; comfortable multi-tasking and taking the lead
  • Detail-oriented, responsive to feedback, and comfortable with tight deadlines
  • Open-minded, optimistic, can-do attitude, and want to have fun while working.
  • Strong spoken and written English, other language skills are a plus.
