Job Summary
The team is looking for a Social Media Annotation Analyst with a background in Social Listening which includes data annotation, contextual data mining, and sentiment analysis.
The individual will work with the Insights Analytics team to help with the ongoing
annotation and reporting requirements. The role requires knowledge of social media
platforms, related data and tools.
Requirements
Key Qualifications
• Experience in annotating/tagging social media content and identifying key trends
across various social media channels like Twitter, Reddit, Forums, Facebook etc.
• Hands-on experience in writing boolean queries to fetch social media data from thirdparty tools like Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Brandwatch, etc.
• Excellent english reading, comprehension and active listening skills with the ability to
understand social nuances
• Proficient in MS Excel and creating presentations
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to independently navigate systems and tools
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to changing work-flows and responsibilities
• Excels at working independently to make timely decisions and take appropriate
actions
• Strong analytical, problem solving skills and an aptitude for learning quickly.
Responsibilities
• Mine and annotate data to identify patterns and correlations among the various social
media data-points
• Design, create and deliver data reports with minimal supervision
• Work on ad-hoc reports that focuses on emerging social media topics and
incrementally add value.
• Develop and maintain clear and organised deliverables on a daily basis
• Successfully meets or exceeds targets, working within defined deadlines
Education
Graduate with 2+ years of experience in the area of Social Media Annotation Analytics.
MBA with 1+ years of experience in the area of Social Media Analytics is a plus
