About the role:

You are passionate about Products. You love understanding technology, and the story behind every launch or feature update, why we built it, how would it change the user’s life, and more. You are curious about micro and macro developments and be able to identify product marketing opportunities in the same. You have a desire to try out new things. You can put traditional and non-traditional marketing strategies and tactics at play and have the itch to reinvent the playbook, if that’s what it takes. You will partner with product, design and business teams to deliver experiences that delight our customers and drive business results with guidance from product & marketing leadership. You will inspire action from cross functional teams through data-driven insights and execute with operational rigor and efficiency.

 

What you will own:

  • Assist in developing product positioning, value proposition and messaging, driven by consumer requirements and data
  • Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive developments to influence future product road map of Roposo on Glance / App / 3P surfaces and work closely with the product team in developing the same.
  • Define and build the brand value for Roposo with consistent messaging and assets on all fronts - product, website collateral, consumer and partner communications
  • Drive organic visibility for the product with SEO and partnering with the growth marketing team
  • Monitor and improve product metrics across the funnel from owned media – product / website visits to registrations, Downloads, active users, and retention.
  • Drive user engagement and product communications with value-add content on the blog, email and other channels
  • Be the voice of the user - Understand user needs and pain points through one-on-one interactions directly with users or other business stakeholders and through data analytics
  • Prioritize - Identify the most impactful problems to solve and be able to estimate the business impact of solving them
  • Ideate - Identify the best ways to solve a problem using technology and design and articulate it clearly and in detail through product requirement documents
  • Come up with new, innovative ideas to solve user problems that differentiate us from the competition

 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree with Tech specialization with MBA from a top India university strongly preferred
  • 6-8 years of experience in product marketing or brand marketing, preferably in consumer internet industry
  • Ability to communicate with potential partners in a friendly and professional manner
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment; comfortable multi-tasking and taking the lead
  • Detail-oriented, responsive to feedback, and comfortable with tight deadlines
  • Inspiring Presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong spoken and written English, other language skills are a plus

Experience in the areas of AI/ML and automation product marketing is desirable but not necessary. Job Description: Product messaging: develop and revamp product messaging along with relevant stakeholders. Job Requirement Skills and Experience Required: 5-8 years’ overall experience and 4-5  years’ experience in enterprise software/SaaS product marketing, with demonstrated experience in developing differentiated messaging and positioning for a dedicated platform/product suite. Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)/Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) with good understanding of SaaS and various architectural paradigms. Master’s degree in business or engineering preferred, but not necessary. Excellent written and communication skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Should be able to effectively work across cross-functional teams. Knowledge of AI/ML and automation software.
