Job Description:
We’re looking out for passionate folks having 2-3 years of experience for the position of Social Media Associate @Chegg (India). This is an individual contributor role where the candidate is expected to help drive engagement, reach and impressions across Chegg India’s Social Media handles (organic and paid). An ideal candidate is a street smart, outgoing professional who knows this stuff in & out, can catch social media trends before they become one, build new trends, is adept at social media analytics, can understand business needs and can curate relevant, eye catching, engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for driving engagement across Chegg India’s social media handles. Key responsibilities:
Should be able to ideate content strategy for social media and create a niche
Stay ahead of the curve by identifying and capitalizing on emerging social media trends, while also setting new ones!
Conceptualise and implement a clear social media strategy to build a continuous engagement model and help increase Chegg India’s social media presence
Analyze social media data to understand what's working and what's not, and use those insights to optimize performance.
Track campaign performance using Excel and analytics tools, and report on your findings to ensure a positive return on investment (ROI).
Driving relevant traffic to Chegg India website and increasing conversion
Fair understanding of Paid social media marketing.
Continuously learn and adapt, keeping Chegg India at the forefront of social media marketing best practices.
Utilizing pop-culture references to garner audience engagement and resonance
Day to day management of social media channels for Chegg India (FB, Insta, LinkedIn, Twitter, Quora, Youtube)
Qualifications:
2+ years of professional experience in Social Media space and working with Social Media Management tools like Hootsuite, SproutSocial etc
Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, social media advertising platforms, and analytics tools.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to generate actionable insights from data.
Creative flair in thoughts and Social Media concepts
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in the ed-tech sector is advantageous but not required.
Must Haves:
Impeccable command on the English language – verbal and written, superb vocabulary
Proven track record of growing social media presence
Working experience with social media analytics and KPI’s.
