Inviting applications for the role of Process Associate/Process Developer – Individual Annuities
Responsible for setting up and issuing new policies, processing distributions and researching issues. New business processors are responsible for the policy up to the time it is issued. Distribution processors service the policy once it is in force.
Has developed niche skills through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision. Provides informal guidance and support to less experienced team members. Is skilled in a range of processes, procedures and systems to carry out assigned tasks. Uses knowledge of how the team integrates with others to accomplish the team objectives
Responsibilities
• Review and evaluate applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with State and Federal guidelines.
• Determine whether applications are properly submitted and meet our suitability requirements.
• Collaborate with agents and/or applicants in the process of capturing the necessary information to get an annuity ready to issue.
• Create data entries necessary to accurately issue policies.
• Print, assemble, and mail issued policies.
• Research, evaluate, and resolve policy owner and field force requests.
• Identify omissions in submitted materials and acquire necessary information to ensure transaction accuracy.
• Calculate and process necessary distributions.
• Communicate sensitive policy information and policy service options to policy owners and agents on contractual provisions, statutory regulations, suitability requirements, and other related policy information. Determine effective dates and policy and transaction acceptance requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications
• Graduation in any stream except BBA, MBA, B.Tech, M.Tech and Technical Graduation & Law
• Proven client service/relationship management experience in the insurance (Individual Annuities)
• Good English Communication (Both written & verbal)
• PC skills (Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Strong customer service skills including problem solving, consultation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences
• Format and produce correspondence using current word processing applications and proofread and edit for spelling, punctuation and grammar
• Coordinate workload and prioritize tasks to meet changing priorities
• Work effectively in collaboration with peers and team members
• Professional demeanor to phone customers
• Express information clearly, both in written and oral communications, particularly telephone and e-mail communication
• Apply policies and procedures to a variety of (clear and unclear) situations consistently
• Take or recommend appropriate action in a limited time frame
• Learn, retain, and effectively communicate specific details/provisions of annuity plans and products
• Adapt to learning new systems and processes!
Preferred qualifications
• Experience in Group/ Individual Annuities
• Insurance qualification/certifications will be an added advantage
• Support team efforts to ensure that individual, team goals are met.
• Maintain key records like working files, email for reference and audit purpose
