JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that leverages YouTube and Instagram to drive website traffic and increase brand visibility.
  • Create and manage a content calendar, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, relevant content across various platforms, including but not limited to blogs, social media, email, and video.
  • Manage LinkedIn and Twitter accounts, engaging with our existing audience and fostering community interactions.
  • Coordinate with students to showcase their campus stories creatively across various platforms.
  • Write, edit, and proofread content, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, email campaigns, and more, while maintaining a consistent brand voice and messaging.
  • Oversee the production of multimedia content, including videos, infographics, and other visual assets, collaborating with internal and external teams as needed.
  • Conduct keyword research and SEO optimization to improve the visibility of our content in search engines and increase organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure content is visually appealing and in line with our brand guidelines.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of content marketing efforts, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Lead and mentor a team of content creators, freelancers, and agencies, ensuring the successful execution of the content strategy

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in content marketing, with a track record of creating and executing successful content strategies that drive results.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt content for various channels and audiences.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques
  • Strong bias for action and ownership
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to track content performance.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Help onboard people on Discord, and design the member journey. Manage the hygiene of the channels & the design of the discord server. Be an excellent Mod: Manage and moderate our existing Discord community, ensuring that discussions and interactions align with our community guidelines and objectives. Utilize Discord moderation tools effectively & create a fun vibe. Our community aims to be the coolest online tech hangout space for all kinds of people. Toot our own Horn: We've built this community to create & enhance brand awareness within our larger tech audience. Figure out ways to effectively integrate the brand as well as spread the word about the community. If someone thinks of a tech community, the first name that pops up in their mind & on their screen should be Scaler. Engage & be Omnipresent: Proactively engage with community members, initiate conversations, and facilitate discussions to encourage collaboration, networking, peer connections & learning. You're the guardian of this server. Nothing goes past you. Respond promptly and effectively to queries, feedback, and concerns raised by community members, providing accurate information and assistance. Be swift at responding, resolution comes later. Be a good listener and understand what the community is saying, and often not saying All we think about is ( Sustainable) Growth: Develop and implement strategies to enhance community engagement, retention, and growth on Discord. This growth goes beyond just the number of people in the community, think about qualitative growth in outcomes like wins, impact & success stories as well. We aim to be the most thorough event hosts: Be good at planning and even better at executing those plans. You will be responsible for organizing and hosting regular tech events, workshops, hackathons and AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions to provide value to the community. The expectation is that you own A-Z of activities & events, and don't miss out being detail oriented while doing so. From ideation, to planning, to creating laundry lists, double checking those lists & finally execution, you own every part of the show. Content is everything here: Develop and deliver engaging, fun, ground breaking, interesting content within the Discord community. You have to catch the community's attention and then retain it, every single day. Engagement comes with good content being delivered repetitively. You'll be creating your content calendars & content strategy to achieve the engagement goals. Analyze: Monitor and analyze community metrics, including active user counts, engagement levels, and sentiment analysis, and provide reports to measure the community's success and areas for improvement. This is our report card. Continuously gather feedback from the community, conduct surveys to identify areas of improvement and implement changes accordingly. Manage your Army: Identify and nurture community leaders, ambassadors, and mentors who can contribute to the community's growth and provide support to other members. Own & run the community moderator & brand ambassador program. Collaborate: We end up collaborating with multiple stakeholders, internal departments & outside organizations.
