The Engineering Manager - Customer Applications will own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for projects implementation. Activities that are conducted to better understand or ultimately meet the expectations of the customer.

 

As a Engineering Manager - Customer Applications, you will be responsible for:

  • To lead a Global, multi-disciplinary team of engineers and technicians
  • Configuration engineering of standard products for customer applications from pre-sales to field operations
  • Contributing to product development, both for customer specific applications and strategic programs
  • Investigation, troubleshooting, remediation and reporting of field non-conformances
  • Initiating and leading Continuous Improvement initiatives for the performance of the customer engineering function as well as other functions and activities
  • Leading the Product Safety engineering function for ILI

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Science, or relevant STEM discipline
  • Extensive experience of Customer Applications engineering, including in a leadership role, in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Excellent technical comprehension, engineering judgement and an ability to support the team to provide innovative solutions to tight deadlines
  • A leader with passion, drive and energy with a track record of building and leading a high performing team
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting at executive management level
