Job Description
Reporting to the head of procurement and contracts you will be responsible for:
- Responsible to conduct commercial negotiations with Contractors/ Third Party Vendors to drive cost savings
- Facilitating coordination with the Architects for accurate BOQ estimation and preparation, with the objective of optimizing costs for the organization
- Tendering and contracting process for contractors, including evaluating tenders and preparing comparative statements.
- Preparation of Civil and Service contracts, in line with preset guidelines and direct modifications to be made
- Reviewing and finalise contracts from a commercial perspective and coordinate with the Legal Department for legal clauses validation and technical / user departments for technical evaluation of all contracts
- Conducting market research and analysis for identification of new vendors for all areas- Civil, Services and Development (Hard and soft landscape) to deliver services in line with customer expectations
- Ensuring timely resolution of any contractual issues
- Coordinating with the Finance and Accounts Department to drive timely processing of payments for Contractors/ Third Party Vendors
- Providing resolution to site teams/contractor queries and concerns with respect to terms and conditions of contract, billing and payment etc. in a timely manner
- Working closely with the Legal Department in providing assistance to Internal Departments in interpretation of contracts and other clarifications
The Successful Applicant
Ideally you are a civil engineer with a good understanding of FIDIC and experience in pre and post contracts in real esate, infrastructure or EPC company
