Scope:

  • Manage the Development teams Core responsibilities including collaborating with customers on functional requirements desired, developing new technical solutions or altering existing Blue Yonder products – Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Enterprise Store Operations, Category management functionality to meet the customer’s value needs,
  • Follow up on Functional and Unit testing to ensure that that new and existing functional use cases work as desired, ensuring quality and documentation of the solution throughout the development life cycle is in place
  • Development methodologies may differ based on the scope of the projects; however, all rely on collaborative communication.  This includes interaction with internal team members for the reviews of development designs, creation of development timeline plans, and reporting of development status as well as discussions with the customer directly for clarifications of needs, value expected, or obtaining feedback via development demonstrations.
  • This position will be focused on working with our teams involved in development for the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Enterprise Store Operations, Category management product suite.

 

What you will do:

  • Deliver project on time, within estimated margin and win customer confidence through OSAT scores.
  • Deliver projects on-prem, Cloud/SaaS using Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid implementation methodology.
  • Foresee, escalate, and mitigate issues that may have negative impact to project SLAs/vectors and/or cause an escalation from customer. In case of escalation, Hear and handle the situation with maturity
  • Ability to navigate through constraints and dependencies (resource quality and availability, change management and user readiness, data availability, BY product capability-functionality) and find solutions in the interest of project profitability/margin and customer satisfaction.
  • Liaises with the various BY departments to resolve customer project issues.
  • Resolves project issues including budget, timeline, and scope.
  • Manages service engagement budgets, including travel expense budgets, and reviewing billing for all services engagements. Maximizes margin on service engagements.
  • Maintains Customer and Project documents in SharePoint.
  • Manages project budgets and invoice reconciliations.
  • Provides regular project communication and status reporting (internal and external) as per the cadence and governance structure defined.
  • Works with Resource Controllers to plan long-term project resource requirements.
  • Works with project team to ensure smooth and efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements.
  • Ability to deliver in faster go-lives using agile or waterfall or hybrid methodology.
  • Ability to lead faster deployments focused on value delivery.
  • Facilitator and a trusted advisor to Project Team and key customer executives.
  • Builds collaborative relationship that increases customer's perception of the value BY.
  • Collaborates with appropriate BY resources on customer's business, organization, and culture to strengthen their credibility as trusted advisors.
  • Conducts performance reviews and provides guidance, feedback, coaching, mentoring and developmental experiences to project team.
  • Experience working with cross-functional, cross-cultural, and multi-location-based teams.
  • Always conducts oneself in a professional manner with BY customers and internal associates.
  • Ensures the security and integrity of corporate assets and intellectual property. Ensures compliance with the internal and external company policies and procedures.
  • Assesses project performance and documents and communicates lessons learned to increase institutional knowledge.
  • Coordinates and facilitates system handover to Support Services. Ensures project team adheres to BY policies, procedures, methodologies, and quality standards.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Total 15-20 years of experience with 5 – 10 years of Project Management experience in SCM domain or IT services.
  • Should be an excellent communicator and Team Player
  • Has knowledge and led implementation (SCM solutions preferably) using either Agile or Waterfall and Hybrid methodology in either on-Premise or on Cloud/SaaS world.
  • Good Understanding of Azure fundamentals, Microservices, Cloud – GCP/AWS
  • Good Understanding of Data platforms on Cloud like Snowflake etc.
  • Understands the fundamentals of supply chain principles in manufacturing, retail and execution domain.
  • Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, SCM concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required.
  • Key Project Management traits needed - Stakeholder Management, Conflict negotiations, Risk mitigation, Communication, Responsiveness, Ability to prioritize and get quality work done on time from project team, working towards adhering to Project Budget and profitability.
  • Has knowledge of next gen technology like MS Azure, AI/ ML algorithms, Data science applications in supply chain.
  • A combination of Bachelor ’s degree, MBA, MCA, and relevant industry experience may be considered.
  • Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as Oracle, SAP, or leading ERP may be considered.
  • Certification or Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferred.
  • Certification in Project Management like PMP, Agile (CSM, SaFe) from PMI or equivalent.
  • Current or prior experience working in Management consulting organization or IT Services organization (preferably Big 5), Supply Chain Center of Excellence preferred.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for users and management. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, MS Projects, Smartsheet, JIRA, Sales Force or any other Project Management Tools and applications.
  • Extensive usage of Collaboration Tools and Dashboards like MS SharePoint, Power BI, Teams, Zoom etc.
  • Travel required (Approximately 60%).
