The Project Manager will work with various internal and external stakeholders to map out a business transition plan with milestones, design regular updates, anticipate risks & challenges and execution management of many other requirements in line with the agreed time frame. PMO experience desirable.
The candidate will get involved with multiple projects include technology, operational and others – including business migrations/transitions. Should be well versed in creating and managing the BOW and other project management nuances.
The role will be required to plan and deliver programs /asks and shall have clear view on risks – with plan to address challenges which are discussed & tabulated.

Your key responsibilities
- Transition management – including stakeholder interaction on the activities to be transitioned, reviewing documents, support planning the migration, training plan management, toll gates & milestones management with implementation of tracking & monitoring of execution, ops readiness checks, go-live support, anticipate and monitor risks & challenges & implementing tracking to close out etc.
- Tracking and monitoring of hiring - enabling timely interventions are made
- Preparation of MI/Dashboard and presentations to update/pitch to senior management including efficiencies envisaged
- Ensure standards are implemented as agreed in the KPIs/KRIs
- Enable governance with local & global leadership
- Ensure Vendor Risk Management related responsibilities are completed ensuring adherence to the bank requirements
- Bringing in and advising market best practices
- Creating of book of work and managing the timelines
- Building and analysing as-is model to would-be model in process flows.
- Managing discussions and creating BRD’s for project initiatives
- Quantification of benefits and challenges by comparative analysis
- Understanding upstream downstream system/process – identifying opportunities to improve the process efficiency – effort/risk etc.
- Working with partners like HR, Vendor Risk teams, DB Vendors, Operations to deliver the desired results
- Maintenance of all documentation & artefacts from various projects stages
Your skills and experience
- 12 to 15 years of relevant work experience in transitions/project management within corporate financial services industry in other Banks / KPOs etc.
- Overall work experience expected is 10-12 years in a banking operation with operations/project management skills with business/process transition experience
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as a team member
- IB Operations experience would be helpful though not necessary
- Knowledge of client lifecycle is a major plus
- Detail and solution oriented
- Demonstratable ability to navigate in unstructured environment
- Ability to anticipate risks and issues, escalate and mitigate issue
- Ability to interface & work closely with global stakeholders collaboratively to deliver outcomes
- People management skills and leadership skills
- Planning and execution skills
- Ability to work with vendors to achieve outcomes desired and hold them accountable
Education/qualification
- Graduates/Postgraduates with good academic record
- Proficient in Data management analysis using excel spreadsheets and similar tools
- Professional qualifications as Prince 2 and/or PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) would be beneficial
