Job Summary
As a product analytics manager, you are
- Leading a dynamic team providing high impact analytical solutions across business functions including marketing, product, customer experience, etc. for large retailers based in US
- Work closely with stakeholders to design experiments & define KPIs for various stages of the product lifecycle
- Extremely detail-oriented, with a strong product orientation and an affinity for data and analytics
- A Bachelor’s / Masters or an equivalent degree, preferably in management
- At least 7 years of experience working in managing program delivery in Big Data, Data Management, Business Intelligence or Data Analytics. Space
- Exposure Market Analytics, Campaign Analytics and Portfolio Management is preferred
- Experience with e-commerce, retail or marketing analytics would be an advantage
- Experience leading Agile product development teams
- Teck stack is GCP, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, ML, SQL/Python, Java / Scala / Python, Node / React JS, Angular etc.
- Well versed with designing & executing design experiments such as A/B testing, Test & Control
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills with a fair understanding of what makes a good user experience and beautiful design
Roles & Responsibilities
- Overseeing the understanding, market validation, development and marketing for products, point solutions and accelerators
- Develop and launch new products while enhancing the existing products on a timely basis
- Product lifecycle management from concept to phasing out of the product(s) across all products/product lines
- Assess product development and enhancement opportunities
- Own end to end process in evaluating A/B or multivariate tests to improve learning; proactively uncover opportunities and recommend new features for test and learn; evaluate and apply alternative methods to supplement randomized testing
- Lead initiatives ranging from ad-hoc deep dives and root cause analysis
- Track results, provide insights and make recommendations to improve customer experience and ensure the realization of intended outcomes
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills with a proven track record of successfully managing direct reports, leading analytical teams
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills
- Guide and mentor a group of team members on day to day deliver.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the customer journey and current trends to improve user experience.
- Use data to form and present hypothesis that can lead to experimentation
- Building analytical solutions around complex and open-ended problems
- Report and analyze business performance from a product, marketing, and customer perspective
