We are seeking a technically excellent, finance professional to join our India finance team. As a key member of our global finance team, you will be responsible for management reporting, statutory accounting, cost management, and analysis. You should have strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills for interaction with personnel at all levels in the organization.

Position summary

We are seeking a technically excellent, finance professional to join the India finance team. You will be an organized, hardworking, friendly, and confident individual, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to fit into the company culture. Role & responsibilities

  • Management Reporting and Statutory Accounting

 

  • Assist in the month end management accounting close process
  • Ensure the correct classification of costs and revenues through month end analytical review
  • Contribute to the monthly reporting pack for submission for senior management
  • Client level revenue cube maintenance and reporting
  • Review of ageing of outstanding trade receivable balances
  • Posting of month end Prophix journals
  • Data loads into Prophix
  • Supporting the audit process for group/local entities where required
  • Cost Management & Analysis
    • Manage finance review/approval process for procurements
    • Preparation of various reports for management review i.e., T&E cost breakdown and headcount analysis
    • Other project based and ad-hoc work as required within the dynamic team

Key skills and experience

  • 6 Months - 2 years accounting experience
  • Semi - Qualified Chartered Accountant/ CA Intermediate pass
  • Proven experience working within an international operation
  • Exceptional systems knowledge including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP/Oracle would also be advantageous
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS would be advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Works to given deadlines and anticipates likely workflows
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with personnel at all levels in the organization
